So the story about this beanie is I guess what some would call “cute”. I designed it with a specific friend in mind, but I didn’t have the guts to give it to him. So, I took it to a white elephant gift exchange I knew he’d be at. To make a long story short, after a few “steals” and halfway through the game he ended up with the beanie. My roommates have deemed me the person with the most roundabout way of giving a Christmas gift. I see it as being the most roundabout way of accomplishing a great success.

I’ve seen animal hats everywhere and decided I would finally make one for my cousin. It’s a polar bear. Probably one of my favorite projects so far. Merry Christmas!

So, for this hat one of my friends wanted me to make her a slouchy beanie that was soft, yellow and comfortable.I ended up liking hers so much I made one for myself. It’s the perfect combination of slouch and softness.

This hat was originally designed because I had two skeins of yarn that I personally thought were horrible and combined them to make something cute. It turns out my cousin agreed with me and “ordered” two.
